About this eventEarly career researchers in China are under increasing pressure to publish in international journals, particularly in English. This online event series offers practical guidance on navigating the academic publishing landscape, including insights into peer review, journal expectations and common challenges.Hosted by the Landscape Research Group (LRG), the series aims to support Chinese researchers while fostering dialogue between Chinese scholars, international academics and journal editors. It also contributes to the development of the LRG China Network. 关于本次活动 中国青年研究人员面临着越来越大的压力，需要在国际期刊上发表论文，尤其是英文期刊。本次线上系列活动旨在为学术出版领域的青年研究人员提供实用指导，内容涵盖同行评审、期刊要求以及常见挑战等。 该系列活动由景观研究小组（LRG）主办，旨在支持中国研究人员，同时促进中国学者、国际学者和期刊编辑之间的对话。此外，该系列活动也有助于LRG中国网络的建设。

<h3>Session 1</h3><h4>Welcome to LRG + Publishing Pathways</h4>Date: 2 April 2026 Time: 9:00 China Time / 14:00 NZDT Format: 30 minutes total — presentations followed by Q&amp;AThis opening session introduces the Landscape Research Group (LRG) and explores the academic publishing environment for landscape researchers working across Chinese and international contexts.
