If you've got questions about traditional publishing - from the mysteries of the submission process to what actually happens if you get a book deal - come along to this friendly, informal session and pose them to freelance editor and industry expert Hannah Boursnell.Topics we can cover:Agents / Query letters / Pitches / Fiction &amp; Memoir Synopses / Non-fiction proposals / Sample material / Book deals / Editorial processes / Big publishers vs smaller houses &amp; independents / Finances / Career building / Rejection... (and anything else you're curious about)Attendees will be invited to submit questions in advance and there will also be an opportunity to share thoughts and ask any further questions that arise on the day.Hannah Boursnell is a freelance editor and publishing consultant with (nearly) twenty years' experience in the industry. She works with clients including Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Hachette, Simon &amp; Schuster, Curtis Brown Creative and The Reading Agency, as well as working one-to-one with private clients.
