Pulse Field is an 8-minute immersive sound and light installation by luma:ratio designed to be experienced slowly and fully.
Structured like a contained energy reactor, a central illuminated tower acts as the core, while seven surrounding light pillars form its outer field, projecting orbiting visuals and sweeping beams that map the air with precise geometry.
Step inside and walk around the field as light, rhythm and tension shift around you. This is a moment to pause, focus and immerse yourself in a system of movement and sound that unfolds in real time.
Perfect for people looking for something a bit different – whether you’re into digital art, electronic music, sci-fi aesthetics, sensory experiences, or simply want to step out of the everyday and into something hypnotic, atmospheric and unexpected.
luma:ratio is an audiovisual project by Manchester-based artist and motion designer Carlos Bernal, creating immersive interactive installations, video mapping, and live performances that explore light, space, and perception. With over a decade of experience in multimedia arts, his work spans site-specific installations, light sculptures, large-scale projections, and structural lighting for stage design.
Originally from Valencia (Spain), with formative experience in Paris, Carlos has performed and exhibited across venues, clubs, and light festivals throughout the UK and Europe. Balancing audiovisual installations with motion graphics, his work aims to create bold, memorable experiences that leave audiences with a visceral, spine-tingling reaction.
