PUPIS Pressure Management and Inhouse training - 23rd March 2026

The team will share a practical and holistic approach to pressure risk. Training focuses on increasing preventative awareness.

Session to include:

- Pressure ulcer formation, prevention and management strategies

- Identify risks, problem solving

- Relationship between posture and pressure

- Practical solutions for complex situations

- Interface pressure mapping

- Case Studies

Please note that if you have attended the training either face to face or virtually, there may be some repetition.

Swansea Bay UHB staff (and Cwm Taf UHB staff in Bridgend): Training is free.

Residential or Care Home staff within Swansea Bay (and Bridgend): Two places are available for staff free of charge. If more places are required, there may be a charge of £40 per person. Please contact PUPIS for further information.

Staff working outside of Swansea Bay UHB (and Bridgend): Places are charged at £40
