Event Details

Following the one day basic training, this half day explores creative  ways of putting the Protective Behaviours framework into practice particularly around emotional literacy, safety awareness and risk taking.

A comprehensive work book and activity sheet book are provided as a guide to working with all ages, including parents and carers.

Learning Outcomes for this course include:

  • Understanding the importance of creating a safe environment
  • Practicing working with the core concepts of PBs using the practitioners workbook
  •  Being aware of how to use PBs around safety issues and develop a safety plan

 

**Please note that you must have attended the PBs one day basic training before attending a practice workshop**

This course explores ways of using Protective Behaviours with parents and children specifically around emotional literacy and developing safety awareness. Includes access to online resources.

Places on courses cancelled with less than two weeks notice before the course start date will not be refunded. All courses are based upon a minimum of 12 attendees. If under subscribed, Safety Net may postpone a course until the following scheduled date and move your booking accordingly.
