This is an introduction to sewing using a commercial pattern. You will need the basics of machine sewing or have completed our Let's Get Sewing Level 1 Workshop.

Learn how to make a comfy pair of pyjamas using the Tilly and the Buttons Jamie pattern.

The Jamie pattern is a great starting point as it comes with clear step by step instructions .

You will learn:

How to read a commercial pattern

Make adjustments amd fitting

Sew seams, hems and add an elasticated waistband.

You will need:

Light to medium weight woven fabric. Amount depend on whether sizing and whether you are doing the shorts or full length version

Suitable fabrics include cotton, cotton lawn, brushed cotton, linen.

There is 10% discount on any fabric purchased at Flo-Jo Fabrics

Refunds are given on any cancellations made 7 days before the start of a course less the 10% booking fee. After that we can only give a refund if the place is resold.
