Pysanky Workshop
Cambridge University Ukrainian Society invites you to join our Pysanky Workshop!
Pysanky are traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs decorated using a wax-resist method. Their designs hold deep symbolism, featuring geometric patterns, stylized nature symbols (e.g. sun, ram's horns, flowers), and Christian motifs.
During this workshop we will use the tradtional painting method, drawning symbols with molten beeswax using a kistka too. All materials will be provided.
