Python is a simple yet powerful scripting language.  This 'Beginning Python' workshop will include:
<UL>
<LI>an introduction to Python </LI>
<LI>writing your first Python programs</LI>
<LI>automating repetitive tasks with Python</LI>
<LI> processing text with Python</LI>
<LI>using Python as a glue between other programs (e.g. BlueCrystal job scripts)</LI>
</UL>
Prerequisites:  
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING A FULLY CHARGED LAPTOP with Anaconda Python 3.7 already installed.

No previous programming experience is required.

This event is only open to University of Bristol staff and students, please register with your University of Bristol email address. Bookings made with other email addresses will be cancelled.
