You're invited to a Python Coding Workshop with Harvey Nash - Talent IT

What we'll do

The coding dojo is participation driven with topics for the evening to be decided by the participants, so do come with ideas for problems you'd like to work on in Python during the evening. We will self-organise into groups based on the chosen topics and collaboratively work on it. We highly recommend to bring a laptop with a Python environment ready to use.

Agenda

18:00 pm Socialise, meet other Pythonistas.

18;15 pm Decide on problems to solve/work on during the evening - Project Brief

18:30 pm Split into groups and collaborate on the task.

20:00 pm Break for pizza and Beer

20:30 pm Show and tell - discuss what was learnt.


What to bring

Laptop with a Python environment installed.

Python - https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-360/

Anaconda - https://www.anaconda.com/download/

Pandas – This should be installed through anaconda but if not it can be installed through the command line/terminal using “pip install pandas”

Numpy – Same as above but using “pip install numpy”
