How would you feel if you could visualise data like a pro and code simple but powerful data science algorithms in Python (the industry standard programming language for data)? All it takes is 8 hours of work over one week.Over 4 evening sessions, you will learn how to interact with datasets, visualise the data, compute important metrics to gain insight, then build simple machine learning models to make predictions.The sessions are hands-on, and split into a section where you watch a video to learn then code along with help from expert instructors.I﻿t is recommended that you have a basic knowledge of programming in Python (Don&#x27;t worry, we will send material to help prepare you if you are a total beginner).Session 1 - Monday, 21st November 6pm - 8pmThe first thing you’ll need to do is to get access to the data. Then, get it into a format that is ready to be explored. To do this, you’ll need to have a firm understanding of Python and will learn to use essential Python libraries like Pandas.Session 2 - Tuesday, 22nd November 6pm - 8pmNext, you will explore your data by computing interesting metrics and insights from it. Some of this will require you to learn how to visualise your data in a useful way. You’ll use some of the most important data science libraries in Python to do this including Plotly &amp; Numpy.Session 3 - Wednesday, 23rd November 6pm - 8pmAfter that, you will begin to prepare your data so that it can be used to train an AI system. You’ll learn important concepts like over/under-fitting, and the theory behind some machine learning. Then you’ll apply this to set up a pipeline to preprocess your data as necessary.Session 4 - Thursday, 24th November 6pm - 8pmIn the final session, you’ll use your data to train several different machine learning algorithms to make the required predictions. You will then evaluate the performance of each of these algorithms. Finally you will tie everything together and wrap up the project.
