About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

To herald the opening of her first major European exhibition – Cowboys: Spirit of the West – French-born photographer Anouk Masson Krantz will be in conversation with Iconic Images Creative Director Carrie Kania, exploring Krantz’s experience documenting the rural ranching communities of America.

Krantz has spent more than eight years immersing herself in cowboy culture, earning the trust of communities that keep alive a unique heritage of hard work, kinship with animals and connection with the landscape. Her images document real-life moments free from stereotypes or sensationalism, portraying the cowboy as neither cinematic hero nor tourist cliché, but as a living figure whose daily life is steeped in tradition, dignity and community. Taylor Sheridan, creator of Paramount series Yellowstone, has described her work as “wordless poetry… a symphony without strings.”

The price of your ticket will be deductible from any purchase made on the night, including signed fine art and critically acclaimed books by Anouk Masson Krantz.
