A methods@manchester Summer School Taster

This session gives you a taster of the four-day summer school on qualitative interviewing.Dr. Gail Hebson will give you a flavour of some of the topics covered in the summer school including; thinking critically about why you are using interviews by engaging with different philosophical approaches to knowledge; different kinds of interviews and what types of data they generate; practical issues around constructing questions and developing interviewer-interviewee relationships, and an introduction to some of the principles and practices of thematic analysis.There will be an opportunity to meet Gail and ask questions so you can get a sense of whether this summer school course is right for you.
