ArtWorks Cymru is a partnership based in Wales developing practice in participatory settings, and supporting the continuing professional development of artists at different stages of their career working in participatory settings. ArtWorks Cymru is driven by a consortium of partners made up of artists and arts organisations from across Wales: Addo Creative, Arts Active, Arts Alive, Artis Community, Arts Connection, Community Music Wales, Creative and Theraputic Arts at University of South Wales, Engage Cymru, Forget-Me-Not Productions, FIO, Fran Wen, Gwent Arts in Health, Head4Arts, Literature Wales, Mess up the Mess, National Dance Company Wales, National Theatre Wales, Nofit State Circus, Omidaze, Operasonic, Republic of the Imagination, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Rubicon Dance, Sherman Cymru, SPARC, The Borough Theatre Abergavenny, Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, Voluntary Arts Wales, Wales Millennium Centre and  Welsh National Opera. The partnership is funded by Arts Council of Wales and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

ArtWorks Cymru

INVITATION TO QUALITY PRINCIPLES FOCUS GROUP 
ArtWorks Cymru has been asked to develop quality principles for participatory arts in Wales. Over the last four months, a working group has been meeting to review current thinking, key reports and existing frameworks, and to create principles for Wales. 
We now have a working draft of the principles and guidance, and would like to invite you to a session to discuss and test the principles. 
We ask you to bring a non-arts partner with you that you have worked with in the past, or are currently delivering a project with. For example: a teacher, health care representative, third sector organisation.
The session will be facilitated by Laura Drane and refreshments will be available.
