An opportunity for councillors and local people to get involved in the development of the community around Queensway. Discuss what is working well in the area and how the council can support existing community groups to create opportunities for the neighbourhood .North Northamptonshire Council have noted that Avondale Grange in Kettering, Kingswood in Corby and Queensway in Wellingborough have been identified by the government as areas that have been “left behind”. The purpose of the events being held over the coming weeks is to provide a forum for community and partners to meet and discuss the issues that are facing these areas. What works well for the people there and how the council can support community groups and residents in addressing the concerns.The event will consist of 14:00 – 16:00 Tour of area16:30 – 18:30 Community meeting/workshop:For everyone’s safety there are Covid measures that will apply to this event. Lateral Flow tests will be available before the community workshop at the venue, and we do ask that masks will be worn inside the venue when not at a table. If you are symptomatic in the days leading up to the event please let us know that you will not be attending
