QUEER Bachata Workshop | Beginner Open Level
✨ Join QUEER Bachata Weekly Drop-In Classes - Elevate your dance, connect with a vibrant community.
💃🏽 QUEER Bachata Workshop | Join The PARTY! 💃🏽
✨ BEGINNER OPEN LEVEL | 12-WEEK COURSE | LEAD & FOLLOW ✨
Our Bachata course starts Tuesday 13 January and runs until 31 March, 7–9pm, at Studio68.
This course is taught by Gaby (@gabriellaclementinasandoval) — a warm, attentive, and highly skilled teacher who centres connection, consent, and confidence in her teaching.
The course is progressive, building your skills week by week, while always staying open and welcoming to anyone who wants to try Bachata for the first time. No gender roles, no pressure — just learning together 💜
We focus on preparing everyone for social dancing in a professional studio setting, so you can take your new skills beyond class.
You’ll be invited to practise at our Monthly QUEER Dance & Mingle at The Castle, where you can dance Bachata and also try out Salsa in a relaxed, supportive space ✨
We also host quarterly big queer socials, usually welcoming 80+ dancers, giving our community space to celebrate, connect, and dance together 💃🔥
To deepen connection even further, we host drinks after every session, creating time to chat, unwind, and strengthen bonds beyond the dance floor 💜
Sanura Dance is more than classes — we’re a dance community rooted in care, connection, and mutual support.
Come as you are. We’ve got you 🌈
