How does it work?

Queer Diary is an open-mic style event. Anyone can sign up to read (we usually have 2-5 readers per evening). Spots for readers are limited - please sign up in advance, to guarantee a spot on the mic! Www.queerdiary.org.uk/take-part

Do I have to read, or can I just join the audience?

You don't have to bring anything to share. We need an audience to cheer on the readers, so you can just come along and enjoy an evening of Queer nostalgia!

Who is this event for?

LGBTQIA+ Adults. All LGBTQIA+ folks are welcome. We use Queer as an umbrella term (and a pun on "dear diary"!). We will never question or police your sexuality or gender identity. This is your space. Allies are welcome to attend in support of LGBQTIA+ pals, partners, etc.

Doors 7pm, readings from about 7:30-9:30, with an interval.
