Join us for the launch of two new Queer Families resources:
- Tips for LGBTQI+ People Using Health & Other Services
- Starting LGBTQIA+ Families in Scotland: A Quick guide
Monday 22nd September, 12:00 - 2:00PM, Pollokshields Burgh Hall, 70 Glencairn Dr, Glasgow, G41 4LL
Hear from Dr Alan Brown, Senior Lecturer in Private Law at the University of Glasgow and those who contributed to the resources over a vegan lunch catered by MILK.
Queer Future Families is a new offshoot of the Queer Families project, which was set up in 2018 because LGBTIQA+ parents wanted to create a space for community building and peer-support around challenges they face.
Queer Future Families is a space for all LGBTIQA+ people in Scotland who hope, plan or are on the path to starting a family. Many community members trying to start families told us they struggled to find good information relevant to their contexts – and wanted to create resources to address this gap.
