This workshop is designed to support those working in higher education settings to understand and apply basic UDL concepts and principles in a quick and easy way. Taking an instructional design approach, the workshop introduces colleagues to critical UDL concepts including learner variability, expert learning, the UDL principles, intentional learning design and session planning using the UDL principles.Using the UDL principles and its practical guidelines, participants will learn:· The underpinning ideas and concepts around UDL· How to implement UDL into instructional practices· Strategies for evaluating and improving instruction· Advice, guidance, tips and approaches for applying UDL principles to instructional practicesThis workshop is aimed at those who wish to apply UDL approaches to their teaching but have concerns about the time and effort required to do so.
