Join us at Stitching Kitchen for a wonderful few hours learning how to create a rag rug or rag rug cushion.

Join us at Stitching Kitchen for a wonderful few hours learning how to create a rag rug or rag rug cushion. Included in the workshop is a simple latch hook and all the materials you need. We will create a simple design on the hessian base and then get going with creating the rug using scraps of fabric. A great way to up-cycle old clothes and left overs from sewing projects

You will receive the base hessian cloth and a latch hook (worth £12.98) to take home, full tuition and refreshments.

About your tutor

Hannah is the founder of Stitching Kitchen and is keen on all things which allow us to recycle and keep waste fabric out of landfills. She has made several rag rugs over the years and loves to shave these skills with others

What to bring

Just bring yourself! You will be given a hessian and hook, there will be a quantity of cotton jersey rags to delve into in Stitching KItchen's fully equipped studio

If you wish you can bring along fabrics to include in your project. We stock all the rag rug extra tools you might wish to invest in to continue at home.
