Random Café are delighted to be hosting a Beer Tasting and Meet the Brewers event on Saturday 5th February 2022, where you will have the chance to taste 6 beers from local breweries Pope’s Yard and Lock 81, and also meet the brewers themselves. With social distancing very much in mind, given the current Covid situation, and wishing to allay any concerns, we will be holding this fund raising event at a large venue – the Leavesden Green Community Hub, Clarke Way, Watford, WD25 0BW – which has an enormous hall, and more than adequate room to distance tables and individuals while still keeping everyone together. Doors will be open from 6.30pm, and at 7.00pm the sampling will start. Each brewer will then begin presenting their beers one-by-one with a short introduction to each, followed by a chance to chat to the brewer as you drink.There will be 6 beers to taste (all vegan-friendly), 3 from each brewery, and your ticket also includes 2 cans/bottles to take home. Table snacks and nibbles will be provided and hot food will be available to purchase on the night. A range of Pope’s Yard and Lock 81 beers will be available to buy throughout the evening, and we will also be running a raffle.We look forward to seeing you there.
