Join us for a fun afternoon of talks, workshops, stalls and stories to launch Friends of the River Wye’s Ranunculus Project.
We would love to invite everyone to our launch event for our new Ranunculus Project, investigating the decline of the key aquatic plant, Water Crowfoot (Ranunculus), in the Wye and Usk. We are hosting an afternoon of talks, workshops, stalls, stories, and demos for you to learn more about Ranunculus, our river, and the ways we can help it thrive! The event is suitable for families and has workshops aimed at both kids and adults (dogs welcome too!).

Details for the U18's Logo Competition will be shared soon, but for now the competition will centre around under 18s designing logos for the Ranunculus Project prior to the event, which will be judged at the launch event, so get creative!
There will also be a Ranunculus themed 'bake off', so if your over 18 (or under) and want to join in on the creativity, bring your best Water Crowfoot themed bake!
