    Webinar overview

Join us for an engaging and informative talk exploring Cognitive Communication Disorders a common yet often misunderstood and overlooked consequence of brain injury.

Whether you're a family member, carer, friend, or professional, this session will help you better understand how brain injury can affect everyday communication in ways that aren’t always obvious.

Led by a specialist Speech and Language Therapist in cognitive communication disorders and brain injury neurorehabilitation, this talk will:

    • Explain what Cognitive Communication Disorders are
    • Highlight how communication can be affected after a brain injury
    • Share real-life examples to illustrate common communication challenges
    • Emphasise the role of Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) in brain injury rehabilitation
    • Offer practical tips and strategies for professionals, families, and friends to support those living with these difficulties

Communication is about more than just words. Let’s break down barriers, build awareness, and reconnect with those who need us most.

Whether you're supporting someone or simply curious, this session is for you.
