About this event

  • 4 hours

RE: is a woodwork and upcycling workshop in the heart of Leeds City centre.

RE: looks at preserving the future through upcycling, refurbishing and reimagining. Taking products and materials that would otherwise go to landfill, RE: gives them a new lease of life. Turning them into practical, useful items that sustain our way of living while preserving the environment.

Our previous collaborations include John Lewis, the Leeds Bear Hunt and Call Lane Bars. We have also worked on a range of internal projects at Leeds City College designing and creating wellbeing spaces and revamping department offices.

Here at Leeds City College, we also currently offer a range of workshops to the general public as well as an online shop that can be accessed here: RE: online shop.

Workshop Testimonial:

The RE: workshop has possibly been my favourite team event ever. Not only was it great to learn some DIY, but we could also explore our creativity in terms of making our projects our own. Emily, Neil and Kevin were fantastic teachers and supporters and I felt fully welcomed. I learnt some new skills and came away with my very own handmade project. What more could you ask for?’
