Public event for Putney,Roehampton,Southfields and Wandsworth Town residents to demand the reopening of Hammersmith Bridge.

Are you frustrated that Hammersmith Bridge has been closed to vehicles for six years?

Are you concerned about the impact on traffic in Putney?

Join Fleur Anderson MP, Cllr Simon Hogg (Leader of Wandsworth Council), and local residents for a public action calling for the bridge to be reopened.

The Department for Transport’s taskforce met last January and agreed that doing nothing is not an option. Now, we’re coming together to demand:

✅ A new taskforce meeting

✅ Agreement on funding

✅ Repairs to fix the bridge

✅ Restoration of our bus routes
