About: Race Ethnicity And Cultural Heritage (REACH) Mission to North America

A diversity, equity & inclusion mission for UK scaleups from London & Greater Manchester to North America.

This mission is an ideal opportunity for B2B Tech founders to explore and accelerate their expansion plans across North America.  Taking place in June, our virtual sessions via Zoom will consist of:

  • Inspirational panels
  • Meeting with corporates
  • Investor roundtables
  • Networking

Brought to you by the Mayor’s International Business Programme (London) and the Global Scale-up Programme delivered by The Growth Company (Greater Manchester)

Format: The mission will take place on 7 – 11 June 2021 with some events scheduled in the weeks before the mission kicks off including a mandatory pre-mission briefing. The mission will consist of a series of meetings, usually about 8-12 hours’ worth of content. All of the content will be mandatory unless otherwise stated, if you cannot commit the time please do not apply.

Eligibility criteria: To join this trade mission, you need to have a trading address in either London and/ or Greater Manchester.

For London companies: Your company must fit the sector focus and be a member of the Mayor’s International Business Programme. When registering your interest, you will be asked a set of follow-up questions to ensure these criteria are met. Please be sure to list specific companies you are seeking to meet with as well as a well-reasoned outline of why your company would be a good fit for this mission.

Any London companies who are not yet part of the Mayor's International Business Programme, please note that you will need to apply and be accepted onto the programme to take part in the mission. Our eligibility criteria include:

  • 20% YoY growth
  • £1m in revenue or funding equivalent (or combination of both) per annum
  • 10-249 employees

When registering your interest, you will be asked a set of follow-up questions to ensure the criteria are met and to apply if applicable.

For Greater Manchester companies: Any company who is applying from the Greater Manchester region, whether from the Global Scale-Up Programme or who are seeking to apply via the Growth Company will need to demonstrate:

  • 20% YoY growth

  • Must have a trading address in Greater Manchester
