Ready Steady Dance at Lillington Library
Ready Steady Dance is is an interactive and fun session for 2–5-year-olds and their carers that brings stories to life from library books through movement, play and imagination.
These sessions are great for:
- Helping little ones engage with books in a fun, active way
- Supporting children’s early development by encouraging physical activity, creativity, coordination, and confidence
- Connecting parents and carers with others in a warm, relaxed environment
- Discovering what our libraries offer
Motionhouse
Founded in Leamington Spa in 1988, Motionhouse are one of the busiest touring companies in the UK, creating awe-inspiring dance-circus productions across the UK and internationally, performing each year to more than 100,000 people in theatres and at outdoor events. They have a strong commitment to the local community, and an extensive participatory and education programme runs alongside their performance work.
Time: 2pm - 2:45pm (doors open at 1:45pm)
Date: Every Wednesday
Age: 2-5 years old (Please note: children must be accompanied by an adult at all times)
Booking: Booking essential (book one place per child attending)
Ready, Steady, Dance is supported by a Warwick District Council Arts Grant.
