We are SEND Parent Carers in Wandsworth, your local Parent Carer Forum. Run by, and for, Parent Carers of children or young people (0-25 years of age) in Wandsworth with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), with or without a formal diagnosis.We voice Parent Carer views to key policy makers, in order to influence the planning and improvement of SEND services and signpost Parent Carers to organisations that can help them. We are part of the National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF).

Wandsworth Civic Suite

Come and join us at Wandsworth's information sharing event for families with children under 8 and professionals that work with under 8's! There will be lots of services attending who can provide information, advice and support for concerns that are common to most families and professionals, such as:<ul><li>Feeding</li><li>Toilet training</li><li>Social communication and interaction</li><li>Sleep-Behaviour</li><li>Early years childcare funding</li><li>Information on childcare options</li><li>How to apply for a nursery or reception class place</li><li>Support available for transitions to nursery/reception</li></ul>Children are welcome and a lift is available for those with buggies. There will be refreshments, baby changing facilities and a break out space for coffee and a chat. It will be a great opportunity to chat with representatives of these organisations face to face:Occupational Therapy, Wandsworth Autism Advisory Service (WAAS), Speech and Language Therapy, Children's Physiotherapy, Special Needs Assessment Service (SNAS), Health Visitors, Feeding Service, Learn to Love to Read, Early Years Funding, Oral Health Promotion Team, Children’s Centres and Family Hubs, Childminders Network, Small Steps, Early Years Send and Inclusion Team, Under 5 CAMHS, Autism Hub, Supporting Disabled Children (Social Care), Respite (Oakdene), NHS Wandsworth Talking Therapies, Healthwatch Wandsworth, Wandsworth Sensory Support Service (WSSS), Wandsworth SEND Local Offer and Parent Champions, A2ndVoice, SEND in Mind, Wandsworth Information, Advice and Support Service (WIASS)And…SEND Parent Carers in WandsworthReady, Steady ..Go! is aimed at families with a child who is under 8, but if you have an older child, you are also very welcome to attend.
