Our Ready Steady Walks are free, push-chair friendly, social walking groups for families with very young children living in Hampshire.
Ready Steady Walk is a good excuse to get out into the fresh air and give you the chance to meet local families in your community. Your local walking group will be led by a Barnardo’s volunteer, or your local community health development worker.
From February 2026, the Basingstoke Ready Steady Walk will be meeting on Tuesdays.
We will meet you at the ground floor entrance to Waitrose. The walk leader will be wearing bright green Barnardo’s lanyard. Free parking is availble around the local area.
We are currently still accepting booking although you can also attend on a drop in basis.
