NITE's free professional development series offers short, impactful sessions led by experienced educators to support the professional growth of teachers and school leaders.

In this session, you’ll discover how your experience as a Teaching Assistant can be the perfect springboard into a teaching career. The skills, dedication, and classroom insight you’ve already developed are powerful assets that can help you step confidently into leading a class of your own. We’ll explore how the experience you have gained in supporting learning provides a strong foundation for becoming a qualified teacher, and you’ll gain clarity on the practical steps and training routes that can turn your ambition into reality. By the end, you’ll leave with inspiration, confidence, and a clear sense of the opportunities ahead.

It is suitable for:

Teaching Assistants, Higher Level Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Staff.
