This introduction to autism and anxiety event is being delivered by Linda Lyn Cook and Sarah Barratt from R.E.A.L Education, and will aim to help you:

1. Develop an understanding of current definitions of autism.

2. Explore the link between autism and anxiety

3. Gain an insight into potential barriers to learning.

4. Appreciate the impact of autism and anxiety on learning and consider some important solutions.

This event is for teaching staff at R.E.A.L Education only.

The training will have a strong focus on what is already working well with learners at R.E.A.L as well as how to make reasonable adjustments to ensure ongoing improvements.

Delivery will be via discussion, and practical tasks as well as theory linked to known research in this area.
