Come and observe the trees that grow in Craigmillar Park. We will be learning together, sharing stories and creating personal tree zines to take away with us. From leaves, bark and flowers to growing environment, there are many features that can help you recognise a tree, and put a name on it, and the names themselves are interesting to look at! Each workshop will focus on 7 different trees, so that you may come to as many of these workshops as you wish and learn to identify different trees each time!
The meeting point is the Arts and Crafts workshop which is workshop number 3. We will then go into Craigmillar Park to observe and talk about the trees and shrubs that grow there! Each workshops will be about 2 hours long.
The tickets are "pay what you can". This means you can come and not feel limited by money. On the other hand, if you can and want to support these workshops, please do bring cash to the event!
