The Learning Technology Team is part of Library and Learning Services at the University of Northampton.The team supports a range of web-based, classroom and mobile technologies, with specialisms including productivity, lecture capture, open educational resources, e-assessment and mobile learning.We are continually investigating new technologies and approaches to learning and we provide dedicated group and one-to-one training for both staff and students. In addition to our team blog(http://blogs.northampton.ac.uk/learntech/)and twitter account (@LearnTechUoN), we publish a regular internal newsletter and actively disseminate our work at national and international events.We have also run a number of internal and externally-funded projects on a range of topics including enhancing the learner experience and creating open educational resources.

Learn how to create a short video from idea to completed film using software and tools available to you.

Using the laptop camera app, mobile phone camera and video editor app .In part 1 you will edit video clips provided to you to compose a video montage to convey information in a short film.In part 2 you will write a short script, plan how to video components (action and dialogue) of the script and use your mobile phone to film the shots to then edit.After this course learners will be able to perform basic video and editing skills and use the tools and techniques learnt to produce a video with relevant content to provide an information or instructor led tutorial video.
