Join this playful hackathon during Open House Festival 2022 to explore innovative new ways to drive circularity in the built environment

The Hithe

Do you ever wish we could start from scratch and redesign our construction sector to foster a more circular and sustainable built environment? Join games designer <a href="https://drewrichards.uk/work" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Drew Richards</a> at this playful hackathon to explore how to drive reuse, recycling and the transformation of buildings for a more circular built environment. Participants will reimagine the complex policy and regulatory landscape of circularity by designing and playing their own tabletop games. The outcomes from this hackathon will inform the development of public engagement tools to drive interest and understanding in circular design and construction. The hackathon will take place on Friday 9th September 2022 from 14:00 – 17:00 BST at <a href="https://www.ifdo.co/projects/the-hithe" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Hithe</a> in Rotherhithe. This event is hosted by the <a href="https://www.circuit-project.eu/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">CIRCuIT Project</a> in collaboration with <a href="https://www.ifdo.co/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">IF_DO</a> and <a href="https://www.meanwhilespace.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Meanwhile Space</a>.The Hithe will be open for <a href="https://open-city.org.uk/open-house-festival" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Open House Festival 2022</a>.
