About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

Join us at our London studio for a vibrant event as part of the London Festival of Architecture, exploring real-world urban challenges in Waterloo. The event will consist of 2 parts: a two-hour design workshop, a follow-up forum discussing the workshop's output, and a networking social with refreshments.

Participants at the design workshop will identify and explore overlooked challenges in our Waterloo neighbourhood through innovative built environment design solutions. Students and fresh graduates from all disciplines are welcome to join.

This will be followed by a community forum where outcomes from the initial workshop will be presented. A panel of invited industry experts, including urban planners, architects, and sustainability consultants, will respond to the proposals, offering constructive feedback and exploring how these ideas could influence real-world urban development. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion or simply listen to the presentations.

The evening will conclude with a relaxed networking social, offering refreshments and the chance to continue conversations, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections across the built environment community.

Whether you take part in the workshop, work in planning or design, or are simply interested in how our Waterloo neighbourhood is shaped, this event is a great opportunity to get involved and share your opinion.
