St. Joseph's Hospice (Jospice) is the oldest and largest Hospice on Merseyside, with a 29-bed Inpatient Unit located in a beautiful setting within 12 acres of woodland in Thornton.The hospiceprovides specialist end of life care to over 200 patients and their families from Liverpool, Sefton and West Lancashire every year.

As the day draws to a close, and the sun begins to set...
Join St. Joseph's Hospice (Jospice) for a very special sail across the Mersey on one of our very own Mersey Ferries.
During this special cruise we will take time out to remember our loved ones, scattering rose petals onto the waves to remember the good times we shared and all that they meant to us. Our chaplains will be on board to help us to remember and to say a few words.
Each person booked onto the cruise will receive a small bag of petals as they board the ferry, with more available to purchase on board. 
There will also be refreshments available to purchase on board.
We are hoping for fine weather but as it is an early evening event, please remember it can be quite cool on the river.
All proceeds will go to support St. Joseph’s Hospice, which provides specialist end of life care to over 200 patients from Liverpool, Sefton and West Lancashire every year.
