Reflexive Strength: Enhanced performance from the inside-out

Reflexive Strength: Enhanced performance from the inside-out

Tollgate Gardens Community CentreLondon, England
Monday, Feb 16 from 7 pm to 8 pm GMT
Overview

Free introductory session for athletes, dancers, yogis, and coaches on restoring reflexive spinal support for power, endurance, and flow.

Most training systems focus on building more force.

Very few address how that force actually moves through the body.

When deep postural and spinal stabilisers are offline, power leaks.
Breath becomes restricted.
Movement costs more effort than it should.

This talk introduces Reflexive Strength — and a method for developing automatic, deep structural support so strength, stamina, and coordination emerge with less effort, not more.

Rather than training more willpower or muscular tension, this approach works with:

  • deep spinal stabilisers
  • reflexive postural organisation
  • efficient force transmission through the spine
  • breath remaining available under load

The result is movement that feels:

  • stronger
  • lighter
  • more coordinated
  • more sustainable

Who this talk is for:

  • Athletes wanting more efficient power and better recovery
  • Dancers seeking strength without stiffness
  • Yogis seeking subtle support without constant control
  • Coaches & personal trainers interested in structural performance optimisation
  • Movement practitioners curious about deep spinal support
  • No prior experience with yoga or therapy is required.

What we’ll explore:

  • Why more effort often produces less performance
  • The role of deep spinal stabilisers in power, rotation, and breath
  • How reflexive postural support improves stamina and coordination
  • Why many strong bodies still leak force through the spine
  • How therapeutic alignment and performance training actually belong together

There will be simple demonstrations and felt experiences, not exhausting workouts.

This is not a class.

It’s an introduction to a way of working with the body that most people – including highly trained athletes – have never been shown.

Next steps (after the talk)

To help you to access full reflex strength and power, you'll need to upgrade how you use your back, safely and at your own pace:

  • First full class – FREE for new participants, a chance to experience the Back-to-Strength method in practice, including a "Back MOT" assessment
  • Regular 2-hour classes – £15 (community rate) / £25 (standard rate) / £35 (supporting rate)
  • Private taster – £20, including a "Back MOT" assessment
  • Back-to-Strength Training Program – starts 14 March, for those ready for structured progression

“The talk is about understanding. The first class is about experiencing. Ongoing classes are where change really happens.”
