Refugee Week 2026 – Courage
A safe Refugee Week event to explore courage, share reflections, and connect as a community in a calm, welcoming, and relaxing space.
Refugee Week 2026 – Courage
Hosted by Aspiring Dreams, in partnership with Refugee Futures and Gateshead Council
Join us for Courage Circles, a warm and welcoming community gathering hosted by Aspiring Dreams. We begin with refreshments and a Courage Wall, where you can write short reflections. We also honour the courage within the asylum journey — leaving home, navigating new systems, facing uncertainty, and rebuilding life. Then we come together as one group to share thoughts and moments of courage in a gentle, supportive space, with no pressure to speak. Listening is always welcome, and you’re invited to reflect only in ways that feel right for you.
What to Expect
• Courage Wall
• Whole‑group sharing
• Tea, snacks & conversation
• A calm, safe, welcoming space
• Delicious food
• No pressure to speak
