Registered Managers Network (Face to Face Learning Hub)
This network is all about supporting managers across Dorset.
We’re excited to invite you to the next Registered Managers Network meeting, a supportive space for managers across Dorset to connect, share insights, and stay informed. Regular attendees tell us these sessions are invaluable for keeping up to date and discussing key issues with others in similar roles. Based on feedback we continue to alternate the format of the meeting, with the next one after this on 20.05.26 taking place virtually, via Teams. Further details to follow.
This time, we’re meeting in person with a real coffee, and we’d love for you to join us!
What’s in Store:
We’ve gathered a fantastic line-up of guest speakers, bringing you fresh ideas, opportunities, and resources to support your teams and services:
- Damian Cranny from Dorset Police will share with us information about fraud prevention awareness training which has been developed and how you can access this for both your teams and the people you support
- We're delighted to hear from Sarah Parsons from Dorset Ageing Well programme and opportunities to get involved in this work
- We're also going to be joined by Emma Glover from Dorset & New Forest Employer Team ( part of DWP / Job Centre) who will be able to tell us more about how they can support local care providers with recruitment
- The team from Dorset Care Association will provide updates on their current work, trusted assessor service and upcoming events. Visit Dorset Care Association About - Dorset Care Association
We’ll wrap up with a confidential and open discussion, giving you space to raise key topics, ask questions, and share advice with fellow managers.
There is parking available close to the venue, further information about the venue can be found here – https://www.dorchesterarts.org.uk/ and details of the parking here https://www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/parking/find-a-carpark/find-a-car-park/-/ddl_display/ddl/270094/99395/maximized
