Please join us at the Abbey Centre on 17 October for the Professional Standards Authority’s annual conference on improving regulation through research.

This year, we’ve joined forces with the team who led the NIHR-funded Witness to Harm project on the experiences of witnesses in Fitness to Practice (FtP) proceedings. A central part of the conference programme, the team will present their latest findings and outcomes from the research. More information about the Witness to Harm project can be found here and here.

The conference will offer additional parallel sessions. Attendees will be able to choose from sessions focused on other research into improving FtP; discussions on regulators’ latest and planned work to address sexual misconduct; and a seminar on future evidence and research needs in the sector, with a focus on FtP.

Attendees are invited to choose from parallel sessions, as set out in the conference programme, and will need to indicate these upon registering. The conference programme can be viewed here.
