The course is from 10 - 4 p.m on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th of March 2024.

Where is the course being held

Accepted Answer

Day 1 of the course will be held at Trevenson Community Hall in Pool nr Redruth. Day 2 of the course will be held at The Cornish Therapy Centre in Redruth.

What refreshments are provided?

Teas and coffees will be provided throughout the day. Participants are requested to bring their own lunch.

Can I get to the course venues on public transport?

Accepted Answer

Yes.(Day 1)The nearest train station is Redruth, and the T1/ T2 buses leave from outside the station, and stop at the Spar shop on Trevenson Road, Pool  - a 5-6 minute walk from the venue. (Day 2) the nearest train station/bus stop is at Redruth train station, and the venue is 10 minute walk away.

How much is the course

Accepted Answer

The two day course costs £150 per person.A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your place, and the remaining £100 is payable two weeks before the course date upon receipt of an invoice.

Question 7

Do I need to have experienced a Reiki healing treatment before attending the course?

Accepted Answer

Ideally, before attending the course you will have had the experience of receiving at least one Reiki treatment. This is to give you an idea of what a treatment is like and what it consists of. These Reiki treatments can be booked directly with Helen and cost £55 for a 90 minute treatment.

Will I be qualified to charge for Reiki treatments after completing the course?

Accepted Answer

No. A level 2 Reiki Practitioner course is required before you are qualified to offer Reiki treatments professionally.  Level one training is for your own healing and personal development as well as giving you the ability to share Reiki treatments with friends and family.

How are students assessed?

Accepted Answer

Students will be assessed continuously throughout the two day course, and will be required to fully participate in all learning and practical exercises.

Is the course suitable for me?

Accepted Answer

The course is suitable for you if you are generally in good health, would like to deepen your own healing and personal development.

Question 11

Are there situations where Reiki should not be used?

Accepted Answer

Reiki is a very safe and non-intrusive healing, however as a form of energy healing  it should be used with caution: 1. With those who experiencing addiction to drugs/alcohol or sever mental health disorders 2. For people taking certain medications. 3.Pregnant women. 4. Someone with a pacemaker etc

What are the benefits of receiving Reiki?

A Reiki treatment may do the following:

• bring about a peaceful, deep state of relaxation

• dissolve energy blockages and tension

• detoxify the body

• stimulate the body’s immune system and natural healing mechanisms

• help to relieve pain

• stimulate tissue and bone healing after injury

Question 13

What happens if I pay for the course but am unable to attend?

Accepted Answer

All attendees are required to pay a £50 non-refundable deposit which secures your place. If you pay the remaining course fee of £100 and are unable to attend the training, if you give a minimum of 72 hours notice from the start date/time you will be able to transfer to a future training.

Is the course residential?

Accepted Answer

No. The course is non-residential.
