Engage Here exists to engage people living with dementia or mild-cognitive impairment in the creative arts. With each workshop a practicing artist will work co-creatively with the participants to teach them ways to improve their personal wellbeing and live life in the present.

<h1>Live Screen Printing Event</h1><p>Join Melissa Fry, printmaker and founder of Engage Here, for a 2-hour screen printing workshop in the Gym Room at James Wigg GP Practice.</p><p>This workshop is intended for people living with dementia and their carers. No previous experience is required and participants are welcome for the full 2-hours, as well as on a drop-in basis.</p><p> We will explore the process of screen printing alongside the theme of &quot;reimagining Dementia&quot;. This will involve us printing onto paper using expressive text, imagery and colour, in a live and ad-hoc way alongside conversation and refreshments.</p><p></p><h1>Taking it to the Streets</h1><p>This event is part of Reimagining Dementia&#x27;s &#x27;Taking it to the Streets&#x27; programme from 16-24 September 2023. This international campaign is about making opportunities to be more open about dementia.  </p><p>Let’s make the change, through connection, creativity and activism.</p>
