2econd Chance is a not-for-profit computer recycling programme which provides IT Refurbishment training for vulnerable adults and young people aged 16-25 with an Education Health Care Plan. Unwanted devices (desktops, laptops, tablets and mobiles phones) are donated to us by schools, businesses and individuals which our trainees work on under the supervision of our specialist staff. Every trainee learns how to independently refurbish a machine including how to wipe data, physically destroy hard drives, install windows 10, partition disks and replace RAM and hard drives. Completed devices are used to bridge the digital divide either being sold at affordable prices with one in four being donated back into the community through our network of partners.
