Event description
Join London College of Fashion’s Making for Change for a lunchtime making workshop and transform your old garments into something new!

About this event

In this free repair embroidery workshop delivered by Carla Bellisio learn mending basics and simple embroidery stitches to repair and update your favourite garment.

Don’t have a full two hours to spare? You are welcome to join the workshop for the first 45 minutes to learn the basics and then finish your piece in your own time.

You will need some basic materials to take part:

• An item of clothing [from your wardrobe, could be a jumper or shirt]

• Needle

• Scissors

• Thread (any thread can be used but crewel wool, embroidery floss or other thick thread would be ideal)

Also useful to use if you have them:

• Thimble

• Scrap fabric [to practice your stitches]

This workshop will take place on Zoom and you will be emailed details about how to sign in a few days before the workshop takes place.
