Join us for an interactive event exploring the growing case for reparations in the UK, building on insights from our new perspectives paper

This interactive event will explore the themes outlined in <a href="https://www.runnymedetrust.org/publications/reparations" title="https://www.runnymedetrust.org/publications/reparations" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Reparations</a>, our newly published perspectives paper. We show how reparations are not only necessary, but achievable. When done right, they benefit us all.Reparations features contributions from leading academics and organisations offering diverse perspectives on both the case for reparations and the lived experiences surrounding it.The event will feature a keynote address by Gary Younge (Journalist, Author, Broadcaster, and Editor-at-large for The Guardian), followed by a thought-provoking panel discussion chaired by Joseph Harker (Senior Editor, The Guardian), audience Q&amp;A, and interactive breakout sessions where participants will be able to share their perspectives and engage directly in smaller discussion groups.Confirmed speakers include:<ul><li>Dr Shabna Begum (CEO, Runnymede Trust)</li><li>Professor Keon West (Head of Research, Runnymede Trust)</li><li>Gary Younge (Journalist, Author, Broadcaster and editor-at-large for The Guardian)</li><li>Joseph Harker (Senior Editor, The Guardian)</li></ul> Please note a working lunch will be served after registration from 12:45pm.
