Reptile Walk and Talk

Join Froglife and the Birmingham and Black Country Amphibian and Reptile Group for a fun, free Reptile Walk and Talk at Pelsall North Common on Saturday the 31st of May at 10:00am.

We will be exploring the park to search for common lizards and making a stop along the way to experience the spectacular speaking sculpture. The pace of this walk will be slow, with regular stops to look out for wildlife, and is expected to last around 1.5 hours. You are welcome to join in for the full length of time or leave early if you need to. We recommend you wear sturdy shoes for walking around the nature reserve.

We will be meeting at the top of Wood Lane, WS3 5AA. A small parking area and on street parking can be found along Wood Lane.

This Reptile Walk is entirely free to attend and open to everyone. We ask that you please do not bring dogs along to this event, as it will decrease our chances of spotting reptiles.

This event forms part of the Speaking Sculptures Celebration Festival series of activities to celebrate nature and wildlife. The sculptures have been created by local people and installed in 8 greenspaces across Walsall as part of the Coalface to Wildspace Midlands project, made possible by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
