Eight Masterclass webinars  by experienced practitioners sharing insights  into research-engaged teaching linked to the In Action series.

The WalkThrus Production team are proud to present eight masterclass webinars by John Catt authors linked to the In Action series. Each masterclass will comprise a 70 minute input via zoom, followed by questions gathered live during the sessions. Participants can watch live - sharing the different masterclasses with different people if preferred . Also, all eight sessions will be recorded with links sent to everyone who registers for a ticket. This way all the webinars can be used as CPD material at any time within your settings. The programme is as follows: Monday 6th December9.30 am Ollie Lovell: Cognitive Load Theory11.30am Efrat Furst - Modelling the learning process1.30 pm Tom Sherrington: Rosenshine&#x27;s Principles and how they deal with a range of everyday challenges in the classroom, referencing the memory model. 3.30pm Claire Grimes: Implementing Rosenshine&#x27;s PrinciplesTuesday 7th December9.30am Paul Kirshner: How Learning Happens: What cognitive science tells us about teaching and learning11.30am Kate Jones: Five Formative Assessment Strategies1.30pm Zoe and Mark Enser: Generative Learning3.30pm: Oliver Caviglioli/ David Goodwin: Organising IdeasAll participants will receive a book as part of the ticket price, selected from a list of the books from the In Action Series. . <h3>The webinar links and book selection form will be available from November from the Orange &#x27;view the event&#x27; button in your ticket. </h3>
