Bristol Neuroscience

These sessions are suitable for secondary school students* and members of the public.
You have selected to book the Brain Structure and Function session. During this session you will have the opportunity to watch the following talks:
The cerebellum: the Cinderella of the brain – Prof Richard Apps
Trafficking in neurones: how memories are made – Dr Jon Hanley

*Note to schools: You MUST book the <A HREF="https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/bristol-neuroscience-festival-secondary-schools-afternoon-1230-1500-tickets-41997340175" TARGET="_blank" REL="noopener noreferrer">afternoon session</A> in the Great Hall before booking any talks. 
You may only attend one out of the three talk sessions.
The sessions will provide interesting talks which students can relate to material they will be covering in their course. Each speaker will provide a summary of their career followed by a short talk focused on a specific aspect of their latest research.  
All talks will be held in the Reception Room, Wills Memorial Building.
Please arrive in good time to be seated for the start time in the programme.
