PEAT Outcome - Relevant legal knowledge
OBJECTIVES
Scottish property law is the foundation for the buying and selling of houses and flats. For the client who just wants their keys and/or their money, the intricacies of a conveyancing transaction are mysterious – and frankly irrelevant as long as they get what they expect. For us as solicitors, paralegals and support staff, the transactional work is anything but irrelevant or simple.
This Lecture strips domestic conveyancing down to its essentials, and walks the audience through the stages that are required from first call from the client to registering title/settling out with the client. We will talk about the legal and procedural technicalities and documents, but also the risks and their management, the IT that is available, and the old-fashioned people skills needed in guiding the client through the process.
DELEGATES
Whether you’re a solicitor, paralegal, trainee, or conveyancing support professional, this Zoom webinar will sharpen your skills and help you deliver smoother, more confident property transactions.
