Event description

Description

The award-winning documentary Resilience has reached the UK. Come and join us for the screenings of The Community Tour. This is the film helping our whole society wake up to the impact of childhood trauma.

The findings of the Adverse Childhood Effects study, published in 1998, have revealed the most important public health findings of a generation. Scientists now realise that extreme childhood trauma is one of the leading causes of everything from heart disease and cancer to substance abuse and depression. Join us to find out how that was discovered -- and what we can all do to act on its insights.

We wish to raise awareness of Developmental Trauma due to living with the experience of Adverse Childhood Experiences in our Children.

The Community Tour is shown by Gillian Smith on behalf of Re-Attachment. After the screening please come and chat to us about doing things differently and what that might look like personally and professionally.

We look forward to welcoming you all to this event.
