Two-part Resin Jewellery Course with Addison of Planet Peach.

Sunday 9th & 16th June 2024
11am - 1pm.

Week 1: Designing and casting your resin pieces with expert tips and advice on mixing, tinting and embedding with resin. A wide selection of moulds and materials for practicing different techniques will be provided but feel free to bring along small things you might like to try embedding in resin (photocopies of images, dried flowers etc)

Week 2: You'll learn how to add a professional finish to your resin pieces and a range of jewellery making skills to turn them all into wearable items. All of your jewellery findings are included (silver/bronze plated & stainless steel) with a variety of options available including necklaces, earrings, pins, rings, bracelets, keyrings and hairclip fixings.

Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this course is perfect for anyone looking to explore their artistic side. A small class size creates a relaxed environment where you'll have plenty of individual support and time to ask all of your questions. In previous workshops most attendees have left with around 8 finished items of jewellery and the class price also includes a summary tips sheet with links to the best materials and suppliers (emailed after the workshop).

The tutor: Addison from Planet Peach studio has 15+ years experience with resin and has been teaching workshops, hosting craft-themed parties and leading community arts projects for 10+yrs.

The Venue: SWI Aberdeenshire is a non profit and the office in Rosemount is newly renovated to accomodate workshops, events and group meetings. Parkopedia shows there is free parking on Sundays on several nearby streets and it's also surrounded by great coffee and lunch options for after the class.
